Before you buy
What size solar water heater do I need?
Plan on about 50 litres per person. One or two people: 150L. Three or four: 200L. Five or six: 300L. Seven or more, or a guest house: 500L or a split system. The sizer above picks the model and price for you.
Pressurized or low pressure: which one is for my house?
If your water comes from a tank on the roof or a tower (gravity), a low pressure heater is the cheapest option. If you have mains pressure or a booster pump and want strong showers, choose a pressurized heat pipe or flat plate heater.
